Helping the most vulnerable is something we all need to take seriously.
1- What is a destitute?
A destitute person is a person without financial means, living on the street (without a fixed address) and constantly living in want.
2- Some characteristics of the life of a destitute person
-A destitute person is a person who does not have a roof under which to sleep and live, so he lives on the street. Thus, the latter is exposed to all kinds of bacteria and diseases due to poor personal hygiene and the environment in which he is forced to sleep. He lives a life of survival and is exposed daily to a risk of death.
-A destitute person is a person who is completely psychologically devastated.
In other words, they are most of the time despised, covered with shame and exposed to the contemptuous gaze of others. The destitute are neglected, abandoned, constantly rejected and left to fend for themselves.
3- Some advantages of helping the poor
-Personally, helping the needy gives a sense of pride. On the other hand, providing assistance and relief to these people gives them visibility in a certain way.
-Moreover, helping the poor means reducing the rate of delinquency and the vices of young people on the street. Through this we can therefore witness the development of the neighborhood in question, of the city, that is to say of the country in general.
So through these two points we can realize that no one wants to become destitute. It is therefore up to us to put ourselves in their shoes and really become aware of their unwanted state of life.
Together, let us rise up and provide relief and assistance to those in need in whatever way we can.
