The Gospel Nations Singers association is committed to protecting your personal data and complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the recommendations of the CNIL (French Data Protection Authority). This section explains what data we collect, how it is used, and your rights.

  • Platform publisher: Wix.com (provides the website creation, forms, and management tools). Wix acts as a service provider but does not control your data.

  • Hosting provider: Gandi SAS (secure data storage on its servers).

  • Other possible service providers: Stripe, PayPal, HelloAsso (online donations), Mailchimp, Sendinblue (newsletter), and other tools necessary for the operation of the site.

2. Personal data collected

2.1 Voluntary Collection

Personal data is collected only with your explicit consent, for example via:

  • Contact forms

  • Newsletter or user account registration

  • Online donation forms

The information that may be collected includes:

  • First and last name

  • E-mail address

  • Information necessary for the specific purpose (e.g., donation, event registration)

2.2 Automatic Collection

No personal data is automatically collected via your browsing, apart from cookies (managed separately in our cookie policy).

3. Purposes of the processing

Your personal data is used solely for:

  1. Communicating with our members, subscribers and donors (newsletter, information on activities)

  2. Manage registrations, user accounts and site access

  3. Processing donations and secure payments

  4. Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations

We will never use them for any other purpose without your consent.

4. Legal basis for processing

  • Consent: for communications via email and newsletters

  • Contract execution / legal obligations: for processing donations and registrations

  • Legitimate interest: to manage the association and communicate useful information to members, in a proportionate manner.

5. Sharing of personal data

  • Within the association: only members or volunteers who need this data have access to it.

  • With service providers: your data may be shared with subcontractors who comply with the GDPR, including:

    • Wix for website and form management

    • Gandi for secure hosting

    • Stripe, PayPal, HelloAsso for online donations

    • Mailchimp, Sendinblue for the newsletter

  • Other cases: only in the event of a legal or judicial obligation, or to protect our rights and prevent fraud.

  • Sale: your data is never sold to third parties.

6. Shelf life

  • Account or registration data: 3 years after the last interaction

  • Data related to donations: 10 years, in accordance with legal obligations

  • Consent and preferences: maximum 6 months

At the end of these periods, the data is deleted or anonymized.

7. Data Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

  • Access restricted to authorized personnel

  • Confidentiality obligation for all volunteers and service providers

  • Secure protocols for data storage and transmission

Note: no transmission over the Internet is completely secure, but we take all necessary precautions.

8. Data of minors

Individuals under the age of 15 must obtain the consent of a legal representative for their data to be collected and used.

9. Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you can:

  • Access your data

  • Correct or complete them

  • Request their deletion ("right to be forgotten")

  • Restrict processing

  • Request data portability

  • You object to their processing

  • Withdraw your consent at any time
