It means listening to His voice in His Word and responding with concrete, sometimes costly, choices. Obedience is not about blindly following rules, but about submitting out of love to God's will, like a child who trusts his father.

Christian obedience is free: God forces no one. But when one has truly experienced His grace, obedience becomes natural, almost a joy. Not because it is easy, but because it is an expression of love.
